Our company has a rich history of taking an active role in the communities we serve. For us, it means more than offering residents a sensational shopping experience. It means enriching neighborhoods through charitable giving.

Our charitable donations are earmarked for:

• Area food banks: Providing food to those in need.
• Neighborhood organizations: Offering support for community enrichment programs in the communities we serve.
• Multi-community social organizations: Offering grant support to a limited number of 501(c)3 organizations to support programs that focus on healthy living, nutrition and disease prevention, children’s education, and medical and emergency assistance for those less fortunate.

If you are with a multi-community, non-profit social organization and are seeking a sizable grant contribution, please send your request, along with a copy of your 501(c)3 status to:

If you are with a neighborhood organization and are seeking a smaller donation for a community enrichment program, please send your request to the general manager at the Lunds or Byerly’s in your community.

Please note that our charities of choice typically do not include:

1. Non-local organizations: Our charitable donations are earmarked for organizations helping those in the local communities we serve.
2. Individuals: All of our donations benefit individuals, but our donations go to organizations.
3. Third-parties: We prefer to partner directly with the organizations or charities that will benefit from the contribution.
4. For-profit organizations

6. Taxpayer-supported agencies
