5… 4… 3… 2… 1… Welcome to Lunds and Byerly’s Kitchen ! Our taps are flowing, our ovens are piping hot, and our food is fresh and ready to go.
Grand opening day was a rush – thank you to all who joined us! The morning started with a buzz of excitement and anticipation as everyone put the finishing touches on displays and triple checked every spotless inch. Our staff was eager to finally share what we’ve been working so diligently on these past months.
Mayor Ken Willcox
Our first customers soon began filing in for the celebration, eager to see the rest of our store. General Manager Steve Carda welcomed everyone and spoke about our staff’s excitement to serve the city of Wayzata. Mayor Ken Willcox gave a warm welcome to us, commenting on the strong community partnership that already exists with our full-service Lunds grocery store in Wayzata. And CEO Tres Lund concluded our grand opening celebration by conveying his passion for our company and the opening of this first-of-its-kind food destination in the Twin Cities.
We have everything from made-to-order sandwiches, sushi and a hot food bar to heat-and-serve entrées, a salad bar and a charcuterie featuring cut-to-order Italian meats, including sausages, salamis and pâtés. We also have a beautiful wine and beer bar, featuring an impressive selection of hyper-local craft beers on tap and wines from around the world.
Whether you’re sitting down for lunch with friends, gathering at the bar for happy hour, or making a quick stop to pick up dinner for the family, we hope you’ll make Lunds and Byerly’s Kitchen your own!
