Our team of culinary experts, including our research and development chefs, have spent the last year creating and perfecting more than 20 products for you to enjoy under our Lunds and Byerly’s label.
The process and care behind each Lunds and Byerly’s product is extensive. We put each creation through in-depth research, trials and taste testing before we deem it ready to have a place on our shelves.
Below is a list of some of the new products we introduced in 2013:
Beer and wine jellies
A glass of beer or wine appeals to the senses on diverse levels – taste, texture, aroma and color. These jellies offer the same experience with a wide range of use. Flavors include golden IPA, porter, chardonnay and merlot. Try our beer jellies on ham & brie sandwiches, hamburgers, or paired with cheddar and gouda cheeses. Use our chardonnay jelly on a cheese plate with soft cheeses, grapes and nuts, and pair our merlot jelly with bratwurst and charcuterie. Each jelly is all natural and made with only three ingredients, giving the jellies a clean taste and bold flavor.
Our organic coffee collection is now crafted and roasted at a premium, local coffee purveyor in the Twin Cities: Peace Coffee. They source beans from only the best global organic coffee bean growers, then turn the beans over to their roast master to determine the best blend and roast level. Only fairly traded, shade grown, organic coffee beans are used. This collection includes eight varieties of ground and whole bean coffee available in 12 oz. bags and in bulk at select stores.
Twin Cities nut mix
A blend of zesty seasoned peanuts, all-natural honey roasted peanuts, sesame oat bran sticks, honey roasted sesame sticks, peanut butter pretzels, and roasted and salted sunflower seeds. All blended perfectly with a hint of spice.
Rice and grains collection
This collection of artisan whole grains, rices and rice blends features fresh, high-quality ingredients. From the familiar to the exotic, they’ll provide you with healthy, delicious mealtime inspiration.
Our 12 chef-crafted blends combine whole grains rice and artisanal ingredients in perfect balance that cooks off consistently every time. These blends make it easy for you to take your favorite recipe and kick up the flavor a notch. Some selections accommodate special dietary needs such as a base for vegan and gluten-free meals. Each blend offers a unique flavor profile, texture, and stunning appearance.
This collection of nine grains and rices, many of which feature whole grains, offers a delicious assortment of ingredients to use as a base for main dishes, or as wholesome side dish accompaniments.
All-natural, uncured hickory smoked Italian bacon has made its way to our shelves. Authentic Italian flavors make it a perfect addition to a caprese salad or a tasty topping to crumble over pasta.
Corn on the cob seasoning
You’ll never want to eat corn on the cob without it again! This seasoning is a blend of hickory smoked salt, garlic, pepper, sugar and onions. It’s great to mix with melted butter and brush on hot-off-the-grill corn.
Wrapped in an all-butter pie crust, our new pastry pies are just what you need during a Minnesota winter. Hearty meals, packed with meat and vegetables, these savory pies are a palate-pleasing, single-serve entrée. Choose from beef, chicken, sausage or ham.
