This cheese is totally lactose free and the real deal. Perfectly creamy, melty, bubbly blend of cheddar, Monterey Jack and Colby cheeses. Green Valley products are made from real dairy milk. To make them lactose free, Green Valley adds an enzyme called lactase that breaks down the lactose into two digestible sugars. If you have lactose intolerance, you don't have enough lactase enzymes to digest lactose and this can be really uncomfortable. So Green Valley does this little step for you. Milk from cows not treated with rBST. Good source of protein and calcium.
