Ingredients
2 ripe California avocados, seeded, peeled and cubed
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, divided
12 ounces cubed seedless watermelon
12 ounces cubed cantaloupe
1 tablespoon honey, or more to taste
1/4 teaspoon chile lime seasoning (like Tajin) or sea salt
Mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
Directions
  1. In a bowl, pour half the lemon juice over the avocado cubes and gently toss to coat all the cubes.
  2. On a rectangular serving platter, arrange cubes of watermelon, cantaloupe and avocados in alternating rows.
  3. Combine the honey and remaining lemon juice, then drizzle over the fruit.
  4. Sprinkle with chile lime seasoning and mint leaves, if using, and serve.

CHEF'S TIP: Use mango in place of the cantaloupe or add honeydew or other melons. You can also use cilantro in place of the fresh mint.
