How To Grill Salmon

Ingredients
2 - 8-ounce salmon fillets
2 tablespoons olive oil + more for drizzling
2 teaspoons coarse salt
2 teaspoons fresh cracked black pepper
Canola oil, for the grill
1 lemon, sliced plus more for juice
Directions
- Heat grill to medium heat.
- Pat fillets dry.
- Brush with olive oil.
- Season with coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Lightly oil grill with canola oil.
- Grill fillets skin side down for 3 to 6 minutes.
- Flip onto flesh side.
- Continue cooking for 3 to 10 minutes, depending on how hot your grill is, until fish is slightly firm and no longer opaque.
- Remove from heat and allow to rest for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice and lemon slices and serve
