Ingredients
2 - 8-ounce salmon fillets
2 tablespoons olive oil + more for drizzling
2 teaspoons coarse salt
2 teaspoons fresh cracked black pepper
Canola oil, for the grill
1 lemon, sliced plus more for juice
Directions
  1. Heat grill to medium heat.
  2. Pat fillets dry.
  3. Brush with olive oil.
  4. Season with coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  5. Lightly oil grill with canola oil.
  6. Grill fillets skin side down for 3 to 6 minutes.
  7. Flip onto flesh side.
  8. Continue cooking for 3 to 10 minutes, depending on how hot your grill is, until fish is slightly firm and no longer opaque.
  9. Remove from heat and allow to rest for 5 minutes.
  10. Garnish with extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice and lemon slices and serve
