Banana Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mashed bananas (2 large bananas)
1 - 8-ounce container sour cream
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chopped pecans
FOR THE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING: 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
3 tablespoons butter, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Grease and lightly flour a 10×15-inch jelly roll pan.
- Heat oven to 375 F.
- Cream butter and sugar; blend in eggs, vanilla, bananas and sour cream.
- Combine dry ingredients; stir with pecans into creamed mixture just until blended. Spread in prepared pan.
- Bake until bars test done with a wooden pick, about 25 minutes.
- Cool; spread with cream cheese frosting.
- TO MAKE THE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING: Beat together all ingredients until smooth.
