Palisade Peach Bourbon BBQ Sauce

Ingredients
6-8 Colorado Palisade peaches, chopped
1 - 18-ounce bottle Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 small Vidalia onion, chopped
1-3 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped (optional)
1 cup bourbon or whiskey of your choice
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a heavy-duty saucepan and mix until combined. Simmer on low to medium-low heat for at least 30 minutes until sauce is sticky and thick.
Makes 2-3 cups.
TIP: If peaches are out of season, you can replace the fresh peaches with peach preserves or jam.
