Made with gin, fresh lemon juice and mint, rumor has it this refreshing cocktail got its name back during Prohibition era, when it was served in the speakeasies of Chicago.

Ingredients
2 generous tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon simple syrup
3 tablespoons dry gin
1 teaspoon Grand Marnier
5 mint leaves, plus a sprig for garnish
Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic Water, to top off
Long strip of grapefruit peel for garnish
Directions
  1. Pour the first 5 ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake, then double-strain into a chilled glass.
  3. Gently top off with the tonic water using a bar spoon.
  4. Garnish with a long strip of grapefruit peel and a mint sprig to serve.
