3 fresh mint leaves + more for garnish
1/2 ounce simple syrup
2 ounces straight bourbon whiskey
crushed ice
Powdered sugar, for garnish
Directions
  1. Express the essential oils in the mint and rub them inside a cocktail glass.
  2. To the same glass, add simple syrup, bourbon and crushed ice.
  3. Stir to combine.
  4. Garnish with more ice, mint and powdered sugar.
