1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup water
16 ounces fresh cranberries

  1. In medium saucepan, combine sugar and water.
  2. Bring to boiling, stirring to dissolve sugar. Stir in cranberries. Cook until skins pop (7-10 minutes).
  3. Cool to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate until service.
